Mechanical Site Supervisor

Your tasks:

• Monitor and supervise all activity of construction, overhaul, transport, commissioning and maintenance of all mechanical machinery groups and installations.
• Responsible for compliance of all mechanical machinery and installations.
• Monitor and highlight any non-compliance issues that may require addressing.
• Bringing up solutions for all technical challenges and coordinate with the Site Manager.
• Record all technical data for purchasing, creating punch lists and dealing with internal documents.
• Endorse the site progress and record time sheets and daily progress sheets.
• Coordinate, support and develop of construction personnel.
• Coordinate final handover to client and supervise all operations for startup and performance testing of facilities.
• Recognise that Health and Safety considerations are central to all tasks and contribute to ensuring safe working environment for all.

Your Profile:

• Overall 10 years’ relevant experience in mechanical engineering including 3 years at a supervisory position within construction mining industry.
• Good knowledge in hydraulic and lubrication systems.
• Fluent in English language, both written and verbal with high communication skills.
• Ability to work under stress, handle difficult situations and decision making.
• Performing authority experience and organisational talent.
• Experienced in the management of personnel and all aspects of team working.
• Extensive knowledge of the mining construction process and its implementation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
• International and multicultural awareness.
• Willingness to travel.
• Driving license.
