Mechanical Engineer

Your tasks:

1. Develop and design mechanical systems, components, and products by applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, materials science, and engineering analysis.
2. Utilize 3D design and drafting software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, to create detailed designs, technical drawings, and specifications for mechanical systems and components.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs into broader projects, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with project requirements.
4. Conduct analytical simulations and feasibility studies to optimize designs and ensure performance, safety, and reliability.
5. Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvements.
6. Manage and oversee the fabrication, assembly, and testing of prototypes and final products, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
7. Identify and resolve design, manufacturing, or performance issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
8. Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure cost-effective, timely, and high-quality production of mechanical components and systems.
9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, standards, and best practices in mechanical engineering.
10. Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to support project milestones and deliverables.

Your Profile:

1. Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
2. 3-5 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer, with a focus on 3D design and drafting.
3. High level of proficiency in 3D design and drafting software, such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD, is essential.
4. Ability to work under stress, handle difficult situations, and make informed decisions.
5. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
6. Experience in managing personnel and effective team working.
7. In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
8. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
9. International and multicultural awareness, with the ability to adapt to diverse working environments.
10. Willingness to travel as required.
11. Valid driving license
